A winter holiday in Szczawnica is a relaxing stay in a place almost ideal for skiing enthusiasts. Wonderful snow conditions and equipment for artificial snow production on the main slopes enable the peak of the skiing season to last for four months a year. Both snowboarders and skiers are welcome on the slopes. Palenica offers a half-pipe for snowboarding fun and a skiing slope with FIS homologation. We would like to recommend the gentle slopes in Jaworki and under Durbaszka for beginners.

Palenica offers a snowboard route and an artificial snowing ski route with FIS certificate and a chair-lift for two persons. The slope is a rather difficult one kilometer long route, where one-ride fare is PLN 5,00, a ten-ride card is PLN 40,00 and a day card costs PLN 60,00. You can also buy a 3-11 day card, which costs from PLN 111,00 to 219,00.
